whats a good brand of wood baseball bat?
Has anyone ever used Prairie Sticks?
Im buying my first couple wooden bats this year Im not really sure what to look for?
Hey i personally have been using wooden bats for a long time and I love the Louisville Slugger bats. I have been able to use them for 4-5 months at a time. There a good solid and powerful bat. There also made in tons of styles and lengths and weights. My person bat it the Louisville Slugger Maple C271. This bat runs around 99.00 but the Louisville bats run from 40.00 to 120.00 a good cheap bat is the Louisville Slugger Ash C331 its runs from 43.00 and I use it during practice to avoid breaking my good bat.
One tip I can give you is when your using the bat make sure the logos imprinted on it is facing you when ur in ur stance. If you hit the ball on that part of the bat your abot 80% more likely to break your bat. Im not saying one hit is going to shatter it but it will weaken it and if you take a hard enough pitch and swing on that part your chances are very likely of cracking or breaking the bat.
